The centre of Terrassa has become a place for growing retail activity since many of its streets have been pedestrianised, but there are also excellent shopping facilities in other parts of the city, such as Sant Pere Nord, Sant Pere, Ca n'Anglada, Ca n'Aurell, Can Parellada. The municipal markets are also key components in the city's commercial fabric, such as the Mercat de la Independència, Mercat de Sant Pere and the Mercadal Martí l'Humà which is a street market held on Wednesdays.
The Terrassa Tourism Shop carries an extensive range of products to give as gifts or to collect and which combine arts and crafts, design and tourism in a marvellous introduction to the city.
No tourism visit to the city would be complete without taking advantage of its extensive cultural and leisure facilities. Terrassa has theatre, dance and classical music seasons, live music at the Nova Jazz Cava, its Jazz Festival, art galleries and exhibition rooms, and more. In Vallparadís Park, young and old alike can take part in sports and cultural and leisure activities.
Terrassa Transport
Terrassa has a number of bus routes which serve all of the city's districts and the main tourism sites. Also available is the Bus Dnit (Night Bus). You can in addition travel around by bicycle using the free AMBICIA'T service. The Bus Parc public transport service operates on Saturdays and Sundays.

There are many instances of artwork in the area to visit, ranging from works by Gaudí to popular applications of Modernism.
